My Yoga journey started in the early 90’s… my health & mental state were in need of a big change and taking a 6 week Introduction to Yoga course was my first step. Yoga helped me get through a very difficult time in my life for which I am very grateful and now I am passionate about sharing what I’ve learnt with others.
I have a Diploma of Satyananda Yoga which is a style of Yoga suitable for most, and have been teaching in Port Stephens for the past 20 years. Whilst Satyananda Yoga is the core of my classes, my own style has developed over this time. My love of Tai Chi also influences me & I include some Qi Gong (Chi Gung: gentle, rhythmic movements & breathing) practices in some classes, which my students enjoy.
I am also very interested in Alternative Therapies and have been using these for many years. There are many natural ways we can help ourselves on the path to healing and I know with commitment these can enhance anyone’s life. I believe Yoga can help anyone who wants to help themselves.
